A Gilman City woman received serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident that happened in Harrison County at about 9:05 p.m. on June 27.
According to the highway patrol, Denise Wilgus, 35, Gilman City, was driving a 2014 Hyundai Accent westbound on Route H.
About five miles west of Gilman City her vehicle traveled off the west side of the roadway and struck a ditch. It came to rest off the south side of the roadway on its wheels, facing north.
Ms. Wilgus was transported by NTA to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was wearing her seat belt. The Hyundai was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. D.M. Wilburn, assisted by Cpl. B.R. Hilliard and Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
