Sally Jean Cameron passed away peacefully in her home on June 25, 2019 after a lengthy illness at the age of 73 years, two months and six days.

She was born on April 19, 1946 in Union City, PA, to Roy S. and Edith G. (Sackett) Kerstetter.

She graduated from Corry Pennsylvania High School in 1964 and attended Nyack College in New York.

Sally enlisted in the Air Force in October of 1967 and served on active duty for 20 years, retiring Nov. 1, 1987, having attained the rank of senior master sergeant. Following training in Texas, she served in Air Force units in Louisiana, Thailand (during the Vietnam Conflict), Nebraska, Texas, Alaska and Washington.

On March 25, 1978 she was married to Larry Cameron at the Randolph Air Force Base Chapel, TX.

Sally was an accomplished pianist, having started playing at a young age. During her teen years, she was the pianist for her hometown church in Corry, PA. After moving back to Missouri in 1992 with her husband, she was the pianist for Heath Chapel United Methodist Church. She also played many funerals and weddings as long as her health allowed.

She enjoyed fishing and camping with Larry and their family and had fished from Alaska to Florida and from Texas to Pennsylvania.

Sally is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; step-children, Karinda Sue (Chris) Poore, Buxted, England, Steven Scott Cameron, Kerrville, TX, and Shelly June Cameron, Pattonsburg; grandchildren, Blake Burns (Stephanie) Uckfield, England, Megan Poore, Seattle, WA, and Noah Cameron, Pattonsburg; great-grandson, Taylor Burns; brothers, Roy S. (Donna) Kerstetter, Jr, and Calvin (Dody) Kerstetter; sister, Kathy (Tom) Benton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sally has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO.
