Reid Otto Scott, 34, Hamilton, and Amy Lynn James, 34, Kidder, were arrested June 18 for the June 17 burglary of a rural residence on 225th Street in Daviess County. Bond was denied.
The pair is accused of attempting to steal a shotgun, along with multiple other household items, according to the probable cause statement. Scott and James are each charged with burglary second degree and stealing firearm, both D felonies.
Scott has multiple felony convictions and his driver’s license is revoked. James has felony convictions from 2014 in Jackson County and her driver’s license is also revoked.
They are set for arraignment on June 27.
