The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person incident that occurred at 3111 NE State Route A in Maysville, at 2 a.m. on June 4.
Leah Marie Dawson is a white female, age 23, height 5-1, weight approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. It is unknown what clothing she may be wearing.
Leah was last seen with her boyfriend in the Cameron area around June 4. Her boyfriend is in police custody due to other charges; he has not been connected to the disappearance.
Leah has not contacted her family, which is not normal for her, and left all her personal belongings and pet cat at her last known place of residence in Maysville. She does not have a working cell phone and no vehicle for transportation.
Anyone seeing the missing person, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 or call the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department at 816-449-5802.
