Mrs. Lena Perkins Wright Davis, 93, of Morehead, KY, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead after a brief illness.

She was born in Shelby, OH, on June 21, 1925 to the late Warner and Fannie Wallace Perkins.

Mrs. Davis was a former employee of Imperial Cleaners in Morehead and after retirement she did babysitting in her home for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Morehead and enjoyed her flowers, raising a garden and walking for exercise.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Curt Wright;  her second husband, Ralph Davis; two sons-in-law, Delmo Middleton and Jim Mead; her brothers, Ovie Perkins, Elzie Perkins and Quiller Perkins; a sister, Lillian Hargett; and a step-son, Henry Davis.

Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Mead of Gallatin, and Linda Middleton of Morehead; one step-daughter, Wilma “Sissy” Lewis and her husband Gary of Morehead; three sons, David Michael Wright, Lonzie Wright and his wife Sharon, and Venton Wright, all of Morehead; a step-son, Ralph Eugene Davis and his wife Sue of Morehead; one sister, Birchie Ison of Bainbridge, OH; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; also several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Tony Kelly and Harold Ashcraft officiating. Burial will follow in the Clearfield Cemetery. Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 12 Noon Monday.

Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
