A Pattonsburg teenager was seriously injured in an accident that happened at about 4 p.m. on May 14 in Harrison County. According to the highway patrol, Ellie Sperry, 15, was driving a 2019 Polaris Ranger on private property about two miles northeast of McFall. She traveled down a steep embankment, overturned and was ejected. Ellie was taken by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany, and from there to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City by NTA. She was not wearing a safety device. The accident was investigated by Cpl. C.J. Sullivan.
