Kince L. Hutchinson, 19, and David A. Hogan, 19, both of Jamesport, were charged May 2 with nearly 20 misdemeanors involving wildlife, according to probable cause statements prepared by Alan Bradford, a law enforcement officer with the Department of Conservation.

The two men are accused of using artificial light to locate and shoot both raccoons and deer from public roadways between Dec. 15 and Dec. 28, 2018. They also killed multiple opossums with a baseball bat.
Both men also admitted to having consumed alcohol while they were illegally shooting a firearm from a public road.
The two men were arraigned on May 7, with bond set at $1,000 for each.
Hutchinson was charged with eight misdemeanors: two counts of taking deer during closed season, taking deer with aid of artificial light, two counts of taking deer from public roadway, two counts of taking raccoon from public roadway, two counts of taking raccoon with aid of artificial light, and taking furbearer opossum by illegal method.
Hogan was charged with 11 misdemeanors: three counts of taking deer during closed season, two counts of taking deer with aid of artificial light, three counts of taking deer from public roadway, two counts of taking raccoon from public roadway, two counts of taking raccoon with aid of artificial light, and taking furbearer opossum by illegal method.
