Life in a nursing home can be a lot of fun.
At Daviess County Nursing and Rehabilitation the staff strives to promote quality of life for residents.
Last week a couple of residents went to Jamesport to tour a greenhouse. They spent over an hour looking at all of the beautiful plants and flowers.
There was also a Cinco de Mayo party, complete with Sombreros!
This week is National Nurses Week. There are currently eight nurses (nine, including the administrator, who is also an LPN) who work at Daviess County Nursing and Rehabilitation.
The facility is recognizing the nurses for all their hard work and dedication to caring for the residents.

•Monday at 10:30 a.m. – Mayor’s Proclamation and Balloon Release
•Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. – Special Music Program
•Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. – Fun and Games (Bowling and Parachute)
•Thursday at 1:30 p.m. – Root Beer Floats and Superhero Photo Booth
•Friday at noon – BBQ potluck
