Over the next three months, Cameron Regional Medical Center will be updating its 2016 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This CHNA update (Wave #3) will cover Clinton, DeKalb, Daviess and Caldwell Counties and is a follow-up process designed to meet final IRS regulations released in 2015. These regulations require all 501(c)3 hospitals to conduct a CHNA and adopt an implementation strategy at least once every three years.
The goal of this assessment update is to identify progress made since 2016 in addressing community health needs and to collect up-to-date community health perceptions. In order to accomplish this goal, a short online survey has been developed and can be accessed at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CameronRegional_CHNA2019.
All four-county residents, business leaders, and health care professionals are encouraged to complete the 2019 online CHNA survey by Monday, June 10, and to attend the upcoming town hall meeting to be held Thursday, June 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the dining room at Cameron Regional Medical Center. A free lunch will be provided starting at 11:30 a.m.
Vince Vandehaar, MBA (VVV Consultants, LLC, an independent research firm from Olathe, KS) has been retained to conduct the associated research. Questions regarding Cameron Regional Medical Center’s CHNA activities may be addressed to Carol Arthur at (816) 649-3226, or [email protected].
