Wanda Jean Alden, 84, Cameron, formerly of Hamilton, passed away on April 22, 2019, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron.

Wanda was born on March 21, 1935, in Cottonwood Falls, KS, the only child of John E. and Lena Bell (Logston) Parsons. Her family moved numerous times while she was a child, but moved to Hamilton for her senior year in high school where she graduated in May of 1953.

She married Glenn Alden on September 17, 1955. They lived in Hamilton for 60 years. Wanda was a homemaker and also worked for the Hamilton R-II school district, which she enjoyed very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Glenn of the home; two sons, Johnie (Dee) Alden, Chillicothe, and Doug Alden (Jessi Kendall), Warsaw; four grandchildren, Natalie (Daniel) McKim, Brad (Kayla) Alden, Levi (Avery) Alden, and Casey Alden; and eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. A formal visitation will be held at Bram Funeral Home on Sunday, May 5, 2019, from 2 to 3 p.m.
