District music contest was held March 30 at St. Joseph Central High School. Choir results are as follows:
Vocal Solos: Exemplary I Ratings – Macie McNeely and Savannah Riley; Outstanding II Ratings – Caleb Fawson and Mary Haynes.
Both vocal ensembles received Exemplary I- ratings. The girls miscellaneous ensemble comprises Mady Kozar, Jennison Lichfield, Mary Haynes, Sarabeth Michael, Destiny Owings, Savannah Riley and Bethany Bailey. The double quartet comprises Destiny Owings, Sarabeth Michael, Mary Haynes, Macie McNeely, Savannah Riley, Burke Dalton, Jordan Donovan and Caleb Fawson.
Students receiving exemplary ratings will be attend State Music Contest in Columbia on April 26.
