A McFall man received minor injuries when he lost control of his stopped semi at about 9:10 a.m. on March 18 in Clinton County.
According to the highway patrol, Bryon Crawford, 58, McFall, had stopped his 2006 International Conventional on the shoulder of the southbound ramp from Highway 116 to I-35.
Mr. Crawford exited the driver’s seat and went into the sleeper berth. He realized the truck was moving and tried to regain control.
The truck traveled off of the west shoulder, down a steep embankment, and overturned onto its passenger side.
Mr. Crawford was transported by Tri County Ambulance to Liberty Hospital.
The International had extensive damage.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. L.M. Allen, assisted by Sgt. J.H. Thompson.
