Daviess County Emergency Management Director David Roll along with Gallatin Police Chief Mark Richards and many other personnel from around the state participated in a class on Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Disaster Management. Topics included the use of UAVs, policies and procedures, proper FAA Licensing, and case studies.
The class was provided by the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency and presented by National Disaster Preparedness Training Center of the University of Hawaii. Chillicothe Fire served as host for the participants.
