On Saturday, March 16, library staff will draw for the three winners of $25 Casey’s cards, plus a few consolation prizes, including a few quilt books, an Elin Hilderbrand title, among other goodies. Attend a program or two this week for your last chance to throw your name in the jar.
Wednesday mornings continue as Tax Days at the library from 9 a.m.-noon. Available is a free “facilitated self-assistance” program where taxpayers can prepare their own returns. This program is free for all taxpayers with adjusted gross income of $66,000 (for tax year 2017) or less and includes up to three state returns, too.
The final programs for 2019’s adult programming will take place March 12, March 14, and March 15. Topics will all be computer related.
The library will continue to offer computer training with the online tools and a dedicated lab assistant on the third Friday of each month from 1-3 p.m.
