A Hamilton woman received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 4:17 p.m. on Feb. 25 in Caldwell County.
According to the state patrol, the crash occurred as Lonnie Moyers, 64, Kidder, was eastbound on Old Highway 36. About a half mile west of Hamilton his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado crossed the center of the road and struck a westbound 2004 GMC Sierra being driven by Deborah Lintner, 61, Hamilton.
Ms. Lintner was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital by Caldwell County Ambulance. She was wearing her seat belt.
The Silverado and Sierra both had moderate damage. The accident was investigated by Sgt. L.M. Allen, assisted by Sgt. M.A. Wilhoit.
