Gallatin FFA members advance in proficiency competition

The following Gallatin FFA members placed first in their respective proficiency areas in recent judging held at Jamesport. These members earned first place and will advance to state: Tayton Terry, Ag Sales Placement; Addison Burns, Integrated Systems Research; Justice Fry, Outdoor Recreation; Hayden Jumps, Landscaping; Carli Beck, Specialty Animal Placement; Colin Beck, Grain Production Placement. State competition will be April 25-26 in Columbia.

Second place winners, recognized at area, were Tayton Terry, Agriculture Repair and Maintenance; Addison Burns, Animal Science Research; Colin Beck, Fiber and Oil Crop Placement; Tom Crouse, Equine Ownership; Jessica Hart, Wildlife Management; Graydee Rains, Swine Ownership and Diversified Agriculture; Macie McNeely, Food Science.

Third place area winners were Bethany Bailey, Ag Education, and Klayton Lynch, Environmental Science Placement.
