Daviess County Library will host ‘Student Day” at the EXPLORE SPACE: A COSMIC JOURNEY exhibition on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Grades four-12 are invited to bring a bag lunch and spend the entire day or visit for any portion of the day.
Home school families are also welcome and library staff are putting together a mini-space for those younger siblings, too.
The EXPLORE SPACE exhibit will be open to students and teachers to dialog, but staff are adding Rocket Club stations for more fun and learning.
Guest presenters include local writer members of Gallatin’s Writers’ Guild; Mr. McCann, the Science Man; Solar System Ambassador Master Teacher, Bob Riddle; Dr. David Richardson, Ph.D., of Northwest Missouri State University; and various volunteers.
Jpeg Studio will be in the house recording oral book reviews for interested students (parental signed permission required) for Summer Reading Program promotional videos and facilitating a green-screen photo booth.
