Dillon Curtis, 20, Gallatin, was charged Jan. 29 with harassment first degree, E felony, misdemeanors of tampering with motor vehicle and property damage, and trespassing, an infraction.

According to the probable cause statement prepared by Gallatin policeman Rick A. Poynter, Curtis cut the tires on a 2014 Chevy Cruze with a razor type knife between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Jan. 13 in Gallatin. The document states that the owner of the car had called the police earlier in the morning and that Curtis’s actions were in retribution for the victim’s call to authorities.

Curtis was arrested Jan. 30, with bond set at $10,000.
