HDC Tournament tips off at Grundy R-5

Winston’s boys are the top seed in the HDC Conference Tournament, which tips off Saturday and runs through Friday, Feb. 9, at Grundy County High School. The Redbirds will face Tri-County at 4:40 p.m. in the opening round. The Lady Redbirds will play North Harrison at 3:20 p.m.

Gilman City’s girls open up against Grundy County at 12:40 p.m. The GC boys will take on North Harrison at 12 p.m.

Consolation semifinals will be played on Monday, and championship semifinals will be played on Tuesday. The fifth place and seventh place games will take place on Wednesday. Third place games will be played next Thursday. Championship games are set for Friday at 6 p.m. for girls and 7:30 p.m. for boys.
