Gallatin Board of Aldermen incumbents Steve Evans, west ward, Carol Walker, east ward, and Barb Ballew, mayor, have refiled for their positions. No other candidates filed for the city positions.

Filing dates for board of education members were from Dec. 11, 2018, through Jan. 15, 2019. The election will be held on April 2.

Gallatin R-5 has three candidates who filed for two positions to be filled. Both are three-year terms. Those who signed up were Dr. William Irby, incumbent, Jesse Bird, and Martin Sweatman.

Two people have filed for two open seats on the Winston R-6 School Board, C. Allen Rhoades, incumbent, and Christopher Lee.

At North Daviess R-3, James Duly, incumbent, Patty Baker, incumbent, and Ruth Lewis have filed as board candidates for two three-year terms.

Tri-County R-7 at Jamesport has three openings, two full terms and a one-year term. Three individuals have signed up: Jennifer Simons, incumbent, Heath Carter, a current member appointed by the board to fill a vacancy left by the resignation of Brandon Hoover, and Trent Brewer.

Filing at Pattonsburg R-2 were Nathan Woodward, incumbent, Jason Teel, incumbent, Steven Pankau, and Brooke Johnson. The four candidates have filed for two positions with three-year terms.
