Gallatin’s boys evened their season record at 5-5 on Monday, beating Hardin-Central, 59-21, on the final day of NCMC=s Holiday Hoops.
Balanced scoring paved the way to a Bulldog victory. Landon Corwin tossed in 10 points. Johnny Stout contributed 9 points. Tristen Gibson, Riley Holmes and Aidan Adkison each scored 8 points for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs fell to Lathrop on Saturday, 65-43, as the Mules pulled away in the second half from a 26-26 tie game.
Gallatin led by as many as 9 points in the second quarter after an Adkison 3-pointer but the Mules rallied to close out the first half on a 17-8 run. Lathrop never trailed past the 6 minute mark of the third period.
Dylan Burns led Gallatin with 9 points. Adkison chipped in 8 and Gibson added 7 for the Bulldogs.
Gallatin’s boys travel to Polo on Friday to resume GRC play.
