James Lewis, bridge supervisor, reported that his crew would be continuing work on the shop this week. They will also be cutting firewood.

Ben Becerra called regarding when the 2019 budgets are due.

Bills were approved. Minutes from the last meeting were approved.

Andy Macias from Snyder and Associates met with the commissioners to finalize paperwork on BRO 34.

A resignation letter from David McWilliams, coroner, was received during the meeting. His resignation is effective on Dec. 31.

Marion Township business was discussed regarding gravel charged by a non-board member.

Kyle Stith, funeral director for McWilliams Funeral Homes effective January 1, 2019, met with the commission. Procedures and services were discussed.

Circuit Court

Salvador Hernandez, Gallatin, will be arraigned Jan. 9 before Judge Ryan Horsman on felony charges of sodomy first degree, kidnapping second degree, assault third degree, rape first degree and misdemeanors of patronizing prostitution and assault fourth degree. Three separate cases against Hernandez were bound over from the Associate Division on Dec. 18-19.

Other cases bound over from the Associate Division: State vs. Charles R. Bradshaw II, Jefferson, IA, property damage first degree, E felony, leaving scene of accident, A misdemeanor, careless and imprudent driving, A misdemeanor; State vs. Angela M. Labee, Jameson, stealing motor vehicle, stealing, and forgery, all D felonies, and attempted stealing, E felony; State vs. Allen David Coates, Gallatin, two counts of possession of child pornography, B felony and D felony.

Civil cases filed: PST Enterprises, Cameron, vs. Randall Turner and Christina Turner, Weatherby, change of venue from Livingston County.

Associate Circuit

William J. Walker, Kansas City, was charged Dec. 30 with endangering another by causing person to come in contact with bodily fluids, E felony. Walker was an inmate at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on Dec. 8. Walker spit into an officer’s face when the officer opened the cell door.

Defendants found guilty in the Associate Division of the Circuit Court of Daviess County are listed below with the offense and fine assessed. Additionally, court costs collected for the State of Missouri amount to $68.50 for moving traffic violations and $116.50 in most criminal cases. Judge Daren L. Adkins presided over the following cases:

Kelly A. Turner, Jamesport, tampering with physical evidence, probation violation, probation revoked, one year jail; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation, probation revoked, $500 fine on each count.

Malik A. Stokes, Des Moines, IA, speeding, $80.50; possession of marijuana amended to non-operating, $300.

Sydney D. Eddins, Cameron, careless and imprudent driving amended to no accident, $200; speeding, $80.50; possession of marijuana, $300; possession of drug paraphernalia, $150; minor in possession of liquor, 30 hours community service, $10.

Tanisha M. Oshia, Breckenridge, driving while intoxicated, set aside guilty plea; new

sentence entered, suspended imposition of sentence, two years probation.

Tabitha A. Myers, Albany, possession of drug paraphernalia, $150.

Zachary A. Pittman, Rosendale, followed too closely, $80.50.

Thorin A. Green, Cameron, possession of marijuana amended to non-operating, $300; no seat belt, $10.

Kevin Del Villar Hernandez, Alpharetta, GA, speeding, four days jail; no valid license,

$300.

Joshua B. Detherage, St. Joseph, careless and imprudent driving, accident, suspended imposition of sentence, two years probation, eight hours of community service; driving while intoxicated, suspended imposition of sentence, two years probation, 30 hours of community service; no seat belt, $10.

Micah S. Delaney, Cameron, possession of drug paraphernalia amended to non-operating, $150.

Randy Turner, Weatherby, passing bad checks, $25.
