Use Tax vote to be on Jamesport ballot

An ordinance to allow a ‘Use Tax’ vote to be placed on the April 2019 ballot was approved by the Jamesport Board of Aldermen at their meeting held Dec. 10.
The condition of South Grant Street was discussed and a motion carried to place “no parking” signs on both sides of South Grant street, from Bailey Street south to the city limits.
The board entered closed session.
The above are the unapproved minutes of the Jamesport board meeting held at city hall. Members in attendance were Geoff Eads, Gary Alexander, Rob Murphy, Freda Garner; and Mayor Ray Bontrager. Visitors were employee Duane Swalley and Wayne and Misty Scott.
