David Stark, 18, Gilman City, received moderate injuries in an accident that happened at about 9:35 p.m. on Dec. 16, about one mile east of Gilman City in Harrison County.
According to the highway patrol, David was westbound on Highway 146 driving a 1987 Cadillac Seville.
He fell asleep and traveled off the north side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, and traveled across East 300th Avenue. The vehicle came to rest in a field, facing west.
David was taken by NTA Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. He was wearing a seat belt.
The car had moderate damage.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. M.J. Miller, assisted by Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
