The home of Edna Johnson’s, located at 302 Second Street in Pattonsburg, burned on Nov. 30 and was a total loss, according to Deputy Chief Karen Shepherd of the Pattonsburg Fire Department. Thirteen members of the Pattonsburg Fire Department were paged out at 11:11 a.m. The Bethany Fire Department with eight personnel and Kidder-Altamont-Winston (KAW) with nine, provided mutual aid. NTA ambulance was on scene as were three Daviess County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Pattonsburg firefighters were called out to another fire on Dec. 1 with 18 firefighters responding. The fire department was paged at 11:39 p.m. This fire was the rental home occupied by Heather Coffey and Damion Rucker and was located at 214 Fourth Avenue. It was a total loss due to smoke and water damage. Mutual aid was received from 12 members of the K-A-W Fire. NTA Ambulance and Daviess County Deputy Cornett were also on scene.
There were no injuries reported at either fire.
