Gallatin, 5-3, will take on East Buchanan this Saturday at 6 p.m. during action in the NCMC Holiday Hoops held in the Ketcham Center in Trenton. The Lady Bulldogs will also face Lathrop at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, also during Holiday Hoops.

GRC-leading Trenton stifled Gallatin Tuesday night, 57-20, to drop Gallatin to 1-2 in the conference’s East Division. Kelsey Maxwell scored Gallatin’s first 5 points to give her team a 5-4 lead but Trenton steadily pulled away to gain an 18-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter.

Maxwell led Gallatin with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Gallatin shooters combined to hit only 29% of their shots in the contest.

Late turnovers led to Gallatin’s undoing last Friday night in a 44-38 conference loss to Princeton. The Lady Bulldogs turned the ball over six times in the final 4:11 of the game after holding a 31-27 lead down the stretch, matching their largest lead of the contest.

The Lady Bulldogs made only one shot in the first 3 minutes of the fourth quarter, a 2-pointer by Claire Hemry that gave her team its last advantage.

Maxwell was the lone Lady Bulldog in double figures with 16 points. Addison Burns finished with 8 points and Salmon chipped in 7.
