Lila Wake, 56, Cameron, received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 2:55 p.m. on Dec. 15, about two miles south of Jameson in Daviess County.
According to a report by the highway patrol, Ms. Wake was turning south onto Koala Road from Highway 13, driving a 2005 Ford Escape. She traveled off the east side of the roadway and struck a large rock which caused her vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on its top in the middle of Koala Road, facing south.
Ms. Wake was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center by Daviess County Ambulance. She was wearing her seat belt. The vehicle had moderate damage. The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
