R-2 board hears about fencing, filing dates

The Pattonsburg Board of Education discussed the cooperative agreement during their meeting held Nov. 19. The cooperative agreement is with the City of Pattonsburg and regards adding another ball field on the north side of the city park. R-2 Superintendent Scott Ireland and Lyle Hoover gave more information on what it might cost to put up fencing. Discussion was tabled until next month.
Upcoming election filing dates are Dec. 11, 2018, at 8 a.m. to Jan. 15, 2019, at
5 p.m.
End Of Course (EOC) results were expected to be in around Nov. 24.
No one has come back to work on the leaks in the newly constructed building addition.
High School Principal Harding and Elementary Principal McCrary both gave their reports.
Athletic Director Warford gave a review of fall sports and upcoming events.
Budget amendments were approved as presented.
The board entered executive session to discuss personnel, student matters, and legal issues.
