Seven members of the Gallatin FBLA Chapter traveled to Albuquerque, NM, an oasis in the high desert full of rich history and inspiring ideas, to attend the National Fall Leadership Conference Nov. 7-11, 2018. The trip included motivational speakers and workshops held at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The NFLC is the premier leadership opportunity for America’s business students each fall to focus on leadership development and career planning. Workshops from industry leaders expanded horizons of many students, and two general session keynotes rounded out the conference, with speakers Clint Pulver and Frank Kitchen. In Albuquerque, members got to take in the diverse cultures, authentic art, and dynamic traditions. Activities included a trip to Old Town Albuquerque, horseback riding along the Rio Grande, and a trip to the top of Sandia Point in the Sandia Mountains. Members were accompanied on the trip by local chapter adviser Barb Holcomb and Angel Michael.
