The Pattonsburg R-2 Board of Education discussed the cooperative agreement and what it might cost to level the ground and install lights and poles during their meeting held Oct. 24. Discussion was tabled for next month. The cooperative agreement is with the City of Pattonsburg and regards adding another ball field on the north side of the city park.

Superintendent Ireland reported that after the heavy September rains, there were more leaks in the new addition around many windows. Herner Construction came and looked at the leaks. Herner contacted the specialist that installed the windows, but has not heard anything back yet.
The new transportation director Billy Goble passed all tests to be a licensed bus driver.
Superintendent Ireland went over the chain of command procedures for board and administration.
High School Principal Tim Harding and Elementary Principal Alan McCrary and Special Education Director Becky Morris gave their reports.
The board entered executive session to discuss personnel, student matters, and legal issues. The above are the unapproved minutes of the meeting. Present were Jason Teel, Greg Coin, Stephanie Mason, Brian Teel, Lyle Hoover, Laura Booth, and Nathan Woodward.
