The 14th annual High School Holiday Hoops is set to tip off on the campus of North Central Missouri College in just a few weeks. Sponsored by the NCMC Foundation, this year’s edition of Holiday Hoops will feature 115 teams representing Missouri and Iowa high schools.

Games at the Ketcham Center begin on Friday night, Dec. 14, and run through New Year’s Eve.
Hoops Director Steve Maxey says schools range in size this year from Class 1 to Class 5 in Missouri, with four Iowa schools ranging from 1A to 6A.
As in the past, hundreds of volunteers will be needed to assist the 15-member steering committee in hosting what is considered the largest high school holiday basketball shootout in Missouri. Persons interested in volunteering should contact Maxey or the Foundation Office on the NCMC Campus. Positions for volunteers included team hosts, individuals to operate the official clock or serve as scorekeeper, front desk volunteers and individuals to assist with sales and hospitality.
