Brandon Bush, 35, Coffey received serious injuries in an accident that happened at about 5:10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, on Hwy. 13, south of Gallatin.

According to the state patrol, the crash occurred as Steven Siegel, 51, Gallatin, was northbound on Hwy. 13, driving a 2006 F-150. He fell asleep, crossed the center line, and struck a southbound 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis being driven by Mr. Bush, head on.
Mr. Bush was taken by Life Flight Eagle to St. Luke’s on the Plaza. Jason Thomson, 41, Hamilton, an occupant in Mr. Bush’s vehicle, received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. A.D. Martin, assisted by Sgt. J.H. Thompson and the Daviess County Fire Department.
