Funeral services for Raymond Willis will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Gallatin. A brief visitation will be held before the service at 1 p.m. Inurnment will be at Lake Viking Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, given through the Gallatin United Methodist Church.

Raymond Earl Willis, 72, Tallahassee, FL, formerly of Gallatin, passed away at his home in Tallahassee, FL, on Nov. 2, 2018, after a decades long battle with multiple sclerosis.

Raymond, the son of Jettie Earl Willis and Frances Winifred Lehman Willis, was born Oct. 10, 1946, in Kansas City.

He married May Belle Horn of Kansas City on Aug. 26, 1967.

Raymond was an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church and a Viet Nam War combat veteran.

Survivors include his wife May Belle and daughters Rachel Willis of Tallahassee, FL, and Elizabeth Moran, of Homewood, IL, and three granddaughters, Fiona Moran, Anna Moran and Mary Moran.
