On Wednesday, members toured the Hunters Honey Bee Farm, where they learned what products can be made and used from the hive, such as wax, lotions, lip balm, and other assorted food items. They got to bottle their own honey to take home as a souvenir and sample various flavored honey sticks.

The next tour that FFA members experienced was Ozark Fisheries where they learned about the process of growing and selling goldfish and koi. It was very interesting how they packaged and shipped the fish across the nation.  That evening members attended the Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

On Thursday they attended the Opening Session of the 91st National Convention, where the national band and chorus performed. Kyle Scheele was the guest speaker and spoke of making the most of opportunities. At the conclusion of the session, members spent several hours exploring the Career Show and FFA Mega Store, and visiting with college representatives from across the nation. Later on they watched the hypnotist, Dr. Jim Wand, perform a very entertaining show.
