For the second year Jacob was selected to play in the National FFA Band. Jacob arrived in Indianapolis early to begin practices for the 90th Convention and Career Show. From Sunday to Tuesday band members rehearsed close to 40 hours to prep for the convention sessions. During the convention Oct. 24-27 Jacob and other band members performed a total of 10 times.
The highlight of the convention for Jacob was performing during the American Degree session and the 9th General Session which President Trump attended. Jacob says that being a member of the band is a great opportunity for any FFA member because it allows you to meet new people from all over the United States and to perform with some very talented musicians.
