Tribute to WWII veterans planned at Gallatin R-5

A program will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9 in the Gallatin High School gym. All veterans and service members from Gallatin and across the area are invited to attend. After the assembly all veterans and service members in attendance are invited to attend a reception to be held in the library hosted by the Gallatin D.A.R.

There will be a special tribute to WWII veterans during this year’s assembly. If you are a veteran of WWII or know a WWII veteran, please contact Amy Holder at the Gallatin High School so more information may be obtained, to help make the presentation extra special for our WWII veterans.
