Plans are underway to replace the decks of five bridges over Interstate 35 in Clinton and Daviess Counties.
The Missouri Department of Transportation hosted two open house public meetings, one at Cameron and one at Pattonsburg, to discuss the deck replacements of Clinton County U.S. Route 69 and Daviess County Routes KK, DD, C and B bridges.
The project will be let in January 2019 allowing contractors to submit competitive bids for the project. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will review all bids and award the contract in February 2019. Contractor may begin work March 19, 2019.
The contractor completion date is Nov. 1, 2019, though the contractor may finish the job before that date if factors allow.
Designers and engineers from the Missouri Department of Transportation were on hand during the public meetings to discuss the construction plans for the bridges, detour routes and gather public input.
