Nita Noranne Searcy, 87, Cameron, formerly of Pattonsburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at a Cameron hospital.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1930, in Prairie View, KS, the daughter of George E. and Gwendolyn (Davis) Hoover.
On Nov. 16, 1948, she married Marvin M. Searcy in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on March 3, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Noranne was a graduate of Pattonsburg High School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Pattonsburg and of Tree Climbers.
She is survived by her daughters, Valorie Jo Hulet, Pattonsburg, and Gail Boeff, West Des Moines, IA; sons, David Searcy, Pattonsburg, and Shane (Susan) Searcy, West Des Moines, IA; brother, George D. (Linda) Hoover, Liberty; grandchildren, James Hulet (Karen), Jennifer Hulet, Carter (Tonya) Hulet, Josh (Tuanette) Hulet, Jessica (Lee) Carver, Justin (Katie) Boeff, Zeb Searcy (Tessa), Isaac (Allison) Searcy, Samson Searcy (Nicolette), Patrick Searcy, and Thomas Searcy; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Burial will follow in Cope Cemetery, Weatherby. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
