Medicare Open enrollment has begun. Come in to the Active Aging Resource Center to pick a comparison worksheet and make an appointment. We will be at the Jamesport City Hall from 9-12 on Nov. 20 and the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center from 9-12 on Nov. 29 to do comparisons. Bring your medications and your Medicare card.
Patriotic Quilt Raffle will be drawn on Veterans Day. Quilt was made and donated by Pat Yost. Please stop by the center to see and purchase tickets. Proceeds will be used to provide Meals on Wheels in Daviess County.
Menus Nov. 5-9
Monday: tuna and noodles, cole slaw, cornbread, lima beans, mixed fruit; Tuesday: chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cheesy cabbage, sliced tomatoes; Wednesday: barbecued meat, green bean casserole, scalloped corn, peaches; Thursday: baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable blend, hot roll, apple cobbler; Friday: meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, California blend, spiced pear.
