Blaine Landes, 9, won senior yearling heifer champion at the 2018 American Royal on Sunday, Oct. 21. The heifer is an American Aberdeen. Blaine is a third grader at Tri-County R-7 in Jamesport and also a member of Brushy Squirrels 4-H, Jamesport. He is the son of Aaron and Micah Landes of Jamesport. His grandmother LuAnn Briscoe went with Blaine to the event. This was Blaine’s first year showing at the American Royal. Pictured are Micah Landes, LuAnn Briscoe and Blaine Landes.
