Marjorie Lee (Grove) Foster, 98, Cameron, formerly of Pattonsburg, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at a Cameron nursing home.

She was born on July 5, 1920, in Breckenridge, the daughter of Charles Franklin and Mary Ann (Tunks) Grove. Marjorie was the youngest of three children and spent most of her childhood in the Breckenridge area. In her teenage years, the family moved to Lathrop.
On Nov. 3, 1936, she married Harley Glenn Foster of Union Star in Plattsburg. Harley and Marjorie raised two children, Donna Lee (Foster) Warford and Dean Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley; children, Donna and Dean; brother, Marvin; and a sister, Reva.
Marjorie is survived by her son-in-law, Lyle Warford, Pattonsburg; daughter-in-law, Jan Foster, Southern Pines, NC; four grandchildren, Lee (Linda) Warford and David Warford, both of Pattonsburg, Sherrie (Foster) Jones, Southern Pines, and Michelle (Foster) Comer (Mick), Aledo, TX; great-grandchildren, Courtney Warford, Columbia, Kelly Warford, Warrensburg, Katie Warford, Pattonsburg, Tyler Warford, Plattsburg, Trevor Jones (Ashley) Raleigh, NC, Tanner Jones (Kaley) serving in the Army in Oahu, HI, Brandon Marion, Blake Marion, Chad Comer, Cory Comer all of Aledo, TX; great-great-granddaughters, Ava Comer, Jacquelyn Malcom, and Jocelyn Warford; and a nephew, Donnie Tunks.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Christian Church, Pattonsburg, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg. Burial will follow in Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron. There is no scheduled family visitation.
