Business partners Joey Chadwick of Jamesport and Brian Walker of Gallatin have opened B&J Gunworks, LLC, at Brian’s rural home south of Gallatin, 28507 230th Street. The gun shop opened March 18.
They sell rifles, shotguns, pistols, assault rifles, and ammunition. New and used guns are sold and trade-ins are welcome. They are able to do FFL transfers. Since the Gun Control Act of 1968, firearms that travel interstate — across state lines — must be transferred using a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL).
The gun shop is located in an office space at Brian’s house and is open by appointment after 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday; and Sunday by appointment.
