Funeral services for Cornelius Kauffman were held Oct. 15, 2018, at the Eli Ray Gingerich residence in Jamesport. Burial followed in the Meadow View Cemetery in Jamesport, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Jamesport.

Cornelius S. “Neal” Kauffman, 86, Jamesport, died Oct. 13, 2018, at his home. Neal was born Nov. 6, 1931, in Plain City, OH, the son of Sylvanus and Elizabeth (Beachy) Kauffman.
On Oct. 9, 1952, he married Emma Kramer in Plain City, OH. She survives of the home. Neal and Emma were united in matrimony 66 years.
Neal was engaged in farming throughout his life and was also the owner and operator of a pallet company in Jamesport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Kathryn Kauffman, two brothers, one sister, two grandsons, and a daughter-in-law.
Survivors include his children, Mary (Ezra) Gingerich, Verna (Menno) Graber, Ivan (Linda) Kauffman, Sylvanus (Margaret) Kauffman, Eli (Susan) Kauffman, Betty (Eli Ray) Gingerich, David (Sarie) Kauffman, all of Jamesport; Perry (Luann) Kauffman, Loganville, WI, John (Dorthy) Kauffman, Abe (Lydia Mae) Kauffman, Clare, MI, Neal Jr. (Luann) Kauffman, Lincoln, Daniel (Lacey) Kauffman, Smith Center, KS; 86 grandchildren; and 102 great-grandchildren.
