Gallatin High School senior Ally Jo Johnson will represent the Lady Bulldogs in next week’s MSHSAA Class 1 State Golf Championships at Maryville’s Mozingo Lake Recreational Park Course.

Johnson shot an 18-hole score of 94 to finish fourth among 52 competitors in Monday’s sectional tournament held in Huntsville. The top 12 golfers not on state qualifying teams qualify for individual play state.
Gallatin’s Jacklyn Maize shot a 110 to finish 32nd in the sectional standings.
Hamilton’s Sam Cornelius shot a 77, eight shots better than her nearest competitor to take the medalist honor at Monday’s sectional. She is a two-time Class 1 state medalist.
Chillicothe and Kirksville teams qualified out of Sectional 3.
