Marvin Gray, 91, Trenton, passed away Aug. 22, 2018, at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital. Private family services and inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Frank Frazier VFW Post 2172 in care of McWilliams Funeral Home, Gallatin.

Marvin was born Nov. 18, 1926, the son of Garnie Edger and Gladys May (Gentry) Gray in Orlando, OK. In the mid 1930s the Gray family moved to Jamesport to make their home. Marvin served his country for two years in the United States Army during World War II. In 1952 Marvin and his wife purchased a farm where they farmed and raised their daughters. Marvin moved to Trenton in 1982. He was employed by the Trenton School district where he was a bus driver for several years as well as working several odd jobs throughout his lifetime.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ervin Gray and Pat Gray and his wife Nina Ruth Gray, sister, Maxine Terry and sister-in-law Eva Lou Gray.
Marvin is survived by his three daughters, Carol, Linda and Delores; sister, Myrtle (George) Vanderflute, of Jamesport; brother, Rex Gray, and sister-in-law, Lauretta Gray, both of Trenton; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
