Summit Natural Gas of Missouri, Inc. (SNGMO) recently announced the recipients of its 2018 Charitable Giving Program.
Among local recipients are Access II Independent Living Center, Backpack Buddies, the Daviess County Active Aging Resource Center in Gallatin, and the Pattonsburg Multi-Purpose Center
Each year the company awards thousands of dollars in grants to local nonprofits and community events that strengthen the local communities it serves. This year the company is donating more than $15,000 to local and statewide organizations.
“At Summit, being a good friend and neighbor is part of who we are, which is why each year we look forward to committing resources for worthy causes that maintain and improve Missouri’s sense of community,” said Phil Marcum, SNGMO’s Senior Manager of Business Development.
SNGMO also provides each of its employees 20 hours a year to volunteer in local communities. With their volunteer time off, employees held several volunteer days, including volunteering with the Mountain Grove Lions Club to do a city-wide cleanup.
