Gallatin youth conquer NW Missouri Jr. Golf Series

Brody Bird, left, and Jack Donovan, right, finished first and second, respectively, in the summer long Northwest Missouri Junior Tournament Series. The series included nine golf tournaments from May through July, culminating in the Tour Championship at St. Joseph Country Club.

The Northwest Missouri Junior Tournament Series is held for junior ages nine to 18 (pre-college) and its purpose is to provide experience, sportsmanship, competition and fun to young golfers.

Brody is the son of Sarah and Jesse Bird, and Jack is the son of Jenny and Jeff Donovan, all of Gallatin.
