Addison Burns, Gallatin FFA Chapter member, was selected as one of 12 national finalists for the competition scheduled to take place this fall in Indianapolis during the 91st National FFA Convention, Career Show, and Expo.  In order to qualify for the competition members had to conduct a scientific research project pertaining to the agriculture and food science industries and present their findings to a panel of judges with a display and a report, and be selected as the state winner at their state agriscience fair. Addison’s project deals with growth factors and inhibitors in plants. She will present her project during the convention and will be in competition for winning Nationals in her division.
