Gallatin’s Jett Simmons and Hamilton’s Sam Cornelius will be part of a contingent representing Missouri in the 2018 Southern Junior Cup to be held July 31 to Aug. 2 at The Club at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton.

Male and female golfers representing Missouri will compete against Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama in the Junior Cup Team matches. The matches rotate each year among the four states.
Teams will be made up of six male and six female players. The tournament will be a four ball match played the first round, alternate shot match play in the afternoon round and the third round will be singles match play.
In four ball matches and alternate shot matches, the teams will consist of one male and one female on each team. The individual matches will be played male against male and female against female.
Male members of the Missouri team are Simmons; Brooks Jungbluth, St. Joseph; Jack Rundle, Jefferson City; Tanner Collins, Kansas City; Conner Orbert, Ozark; and Lane Plunkett, Eugene.
Female members of the Missouri team are Cornelius; Amber Wilson, Camdenton; Sara Bell, Jackson; Allison Bray, Cape Girardeau; Olivia Sowers, Columbia; and Madeline Larousse, O’Fallon.
