The 2018 North Central Missouri Fair is scheduled for July 27, 28, 29, and July 31 to Aug. 4, at the NCM Fairground in Trenton. The fair kicks off with TNT Ranch and Rodeo in town. Friday night is the excitement of open youth, and Saturday night you won’t want to miss the action of the adult rodeo.
Sunday features the tractor pull at the grandstand. The livestock shows begin on Tuesday, July 31.
This year’s parade theme is “Welcome Home.” The parade will be July 31 at 5:30 p.m. with line-up at 5 p.m. To enter the parade, call 654-1443 and leave a message. Parade entry deadline is July 27.
Some of the other events held at the fair include a BBQ Chicken Cookoff, FFA whole hog roast, a horse pull, ATV and dirt bike motocross races, a horse show, baby show, Tuff Trucks, and the premium sale.
Aug. 1 is the Super Teen Contest in the grandstands at 7 p.m., and contestants are still needed. Teams need to have four people ages 13 and up, so grab a few friends, family or co-workers and join the fun! For more information call Rick at 359-1389.
The fair queen pageant is still looking for participants, ages 17-21. At the pageant, a new fair queen and three runners up will be chosen.
